
Kevin is a global expert in urban governance and climate finance with 30 years of working with cities and local governments to improve their enabling environments, development regulations and operational governance to achieve sustainable development and climate results. Currently, he is focused on improving the social contract between cities and their populations. For the past 8 years, he was a Lead Community Planner for the US Agency for International Development, strengthening operational and fiscal capacities of cities. He was instrumental in launching the first of its kind Cities Summit of the Americas. He has extensive experience working with the United Nations and various development banks addressing rapid urbanization across the globe. Prior to USAID, he worked with hundreds of cities across the United States to implement sustainable development practices. He holds a Masters of Art in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois and Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame.
